A routine call turned into a nightmare when a county deputy launched into a completely belligerent and unprovoked physical attack on a civilian — and had no idea someone nearby was filming the entire thing.
In the video, the deputy can be seen screaming, shoving, and even attempting to strike the individual during a heated confrontation. Within minutes of the footage going public, it spread like wildfire across social media.
By the time the county sheriff’s office became aware of the clip, the damage was done — and so was the deputy’s career.
Less than 24 hours later, the department announced that he had been terminated.
Officials are now calling the video “unacceptable” and praising the person who recorded it for speaking out.
