A simple walk turned into a heated confrontation when a pedestrian parked near a business and began recording a police officer outside the building. Within seconds, the officer stormed over and demanded that he stop filming immediately — claiming the area was “private property.”
But the man calmly replied that he was standing on a public sidewalk.
What followed was an intense standoff. The officer raised his voice, pointed at the ground, and repeatedly ordered the man to leave the area — even though multiple signs nearby clearly marked the sidewalk as public access.
The pedestrian continued recording, refusing to back down as bystanders started gathering around.
The entire exchange was captured on video — and has now gone viral, sparking a debate about public rights and police aggression.
